card number 2484 Comments: maybe we should consider adding a proposal at the convention this year that includes furloughs that the ibew has in effect so all our brothers and sisters would be able to work and keep their benefits for their families and provide food and shelter for them,instead of the companies picking and choosing who they want,and not giving every qualified member of the union a chance to support their families,just a thought,lets make it fair for all,its what our brotherhood stands for..no?

card number #8 Comments: Hay Brothers I had the pleasure of visiting a former Local #1 Brother in Albuquerque, NM while RVing across the Country with my Bride. His name is Hank Hardy. Hank is retired and past President of Local #25. When I sent him an email about the recent vote for the International Convention, Hank recognized the name Schrettner. Hank worked with Al Schrettner in Maintenance with the Big "W" years ago. If anyone knows of Al Schrettner's email address, would you kindly pass it along to me so I can return a Big favor to Hank - he really went above & beyond with hospitality while we were in NM. card number 2029 Comments: 707 days laid off as a shop steward....Member in good standings.UNION DUES PAID......15 yrs in business.Dodged 2 towers falling...95 percent of union meetings attended.14 DAYS AWAY FROM FORECLOSURE...Were is the work????Plus i forgot too mention a divorce in between...Alot of dues paid...No medical.No dental.Annuity drained,22000 in taxes owed from that.Unemployment just ran out.Can barely get summer clothes for my kids.WTF is going on here????????

card number 42 Comments: Starting in April, most US workers stopped recieving their annual SS benefits estimates in the mail. Due to Goverment budget cuts. Workers can still get a personnalized estimate of their future benefits based on their actual work history at www.ssa,gov/estimator. But is does not give you the ful range of info that you used to get.They may start sending out the info again in October when the new new fiscal year starts. Just like your annuity, keep close track of your hours.
