Dear Brothers and sisters,

HAPPY EASTER! Regardless of your choice of faith, todays message is about SACRIFICE. Giving of yourself so others can THRIVE. Please see the BIG PICTURE, is not all about you? its not whats in it for me? Most of all PLEASE make a choice to be involved in your families. I refuse to let others RUIN my day, GOD gave it to me and I will always do the most with it to help others .

PLEASE brothers and sisters be EDUCATED, make sure you practice what you PREACH! Your values at work and in your community begin with your FAMILY values at home .

Most of all I hope this post finds all of you doing well. Please take a moment out of your busy lives, reach out to others who are less fortunate as you & I. Everyday is a challenge for all of us to make the right decisions for our families as a parent , a spouse or a brother or sister. Be excited about everyday & be excited about what WE HAVE , not what we dont have.

10 Simple rules to live by..............................

1. Make peace with imperfection

2. Remind yourself that when you die, your "in basket" wont be empty.

3.Be the first one to act loving or reach out.

4.Ask yourself the question? "Will this matter a year from now"

5.Smile at strangers, look into their eyes and say HELLO

6. CHOOSE BEING KIND OVER BEING RIGHT!!!

7.Every day , tell at least one person something you like, admire or appreciate about them.

8. Turn your melodrama into MELLOW drama

9. Think of what you have instead of what you WANT

10. LIVE THIS DAY AS IF IT WERE YOUR LAST!!!!!

Regarding the upcoming vote for the IUEC convention, most of all get out and exercise your RIGHT TO VOTE!!! I am extremely excited about the future of Local 1 IUEC!!! Regardless of who wins , If you are true to your goals , your positive commitment to make a difference in your life . YOU WILL NEVER BE A LOSER!

Most of get out to vote. Make a choice to make a positive difference. Being an actively involved member of Local 1 has proven my constant concern for the future of Local 1 and our members.

I look forward to representing you at the General Convention, come out to VOTE on April 20th, 2006.

I WILL ALWAYS REMAIN an EDUCATED, INFORMED and concerned member .

Enjoy this wonderful celebration of Easter, I wanted to thank my Mom , Mary Link for all of the values she showed me . Mom may you rest in Peace, not a day goes by that I dont think of what you meant to me and our entire family.

            Respectfully Submitted Brother Brian Link

I just read the letter from the hall and its great to have the stupid rumors that we hear cleared up. The guys in the hall are the right guys for the job. It takes time to clear a name thats been dragged threw the mud for so long but they are on the right track and I say thanks. Dont forget to come out and vote on the 20th and also dont forget we have a voting machine in the jersey school for this vote and hopefully all in the future.
