Hello brothers and sisters I would like to take some time to try to help. I am lucky and at this present time I am working with a signatory company. I am still out there trying to take pictures when I can but I would like to do more so here it is. If you are locked out and not doing so well I would like you to email me your name and i will contact you and on the weeks that i get overtime or get extra cash I will wack it up with as many people that send me there name. I will be checking to make sure you are locked out so no funny stuff. seriously it might not be much but it will be something and maybe I can help you get something extra for the kids one night. Anyway send me your name and we can get started I had some OT last week and will have my check by friday.

 To my surprise and disgust there are 2 people from my company Schindler that are taking turns going back and fourth to do the work of local 1 members. But what surprises me most is the attitude in the field by a few.    Apparently they  were told if they refused they  would be fired.  What happened to the days where a bunch of us from this local all jumped into our cars and headed off to Ohio to unionize a scab company,sleeping in our vehicles over night?  I am ashamed and embarrassed that more is'nt being done to help.  As an individual I,d like to extend a helping hand to a family that may need it from local one.  So if there is anything I can do to help please contact me via email.  Again Im very sorry and pray that this issue gets resolved quickly.  Until then hang in there and know they we are all in this together.

I can not for the life of me understand how some of  the working Brother's & Sister's of Local One can not send in the assessment of $250. a month........... you voted on it ............... Your Brother's & Sister's or out of work for eleven weeks Fighting Your Fight, My Fight in two years........ Good GOD I do not understand!!!!!! I am 3,000 miles away and I check this site four or five times a day, I have my wife involved she reads it.......... I send mine and my Brother's & and Sister's checks out every week ...........I get a bunch of different phone calls a day asking about the Lock-Out of the Brother's & Sister's of Local One............they meet we me for lunch to bring checks ............we brought up a motion to send Local One Brother's & Sister's a check from our General Fund for $50,000.00 M/S/C .......The check was sent. If it where the other way around, these none paying Brother's & Sister's would be crying like BABIES!

I am from  a long line of Elevator Constructors I would like to be able to pass this trade on ..... like it was to me......one day.....and it be worth a damn.

 Now get off your dead asses and be Proud to send that assessment in for your Brother's & Sister's, who are Fighting OUR Fight !

Another right on to brother Brian Link....I tell you it would be good for the soul if some of these brothers that happen to be in the right side of the fence and are still working, would drop by this message boards and gave us  some words of encouragement perhaps even thank us for fighting not just for us but for them too. what we get they get..If I was working that would be ever present on my mind, and I would be here daily exhaulting my brothers and sisters to hang tough...nufff said.

Right on brother Charlie Clams...You took the words right out of my mouth..Strange thing I was anticipating and saying some of the lines you wrote before the screen scrolled...They've forgotten that each one of them is only a sum of it's parts.. without us they're nothing..As I've said;, How long it takes to end this is academic. The enormity of their error is gonna cost them dearly, we all can go to work for whoever picks up the pieces, but what would they do if the bulk of their customer base decides they've had enough and goes away? I wonder who the genius was that convinced the powers that be, that messing with Local #1 was the way to go? I wonder in hindsight what he's thinking? Hmm. I would like to also remind everyone never to forget the individuals that knew about this (while holding Local #1 cards), never told any of us, and tore their cards a day or so before the lockout..All the money they made  standing on our shoulders is not gonna last forever and if they think that the friendships are gonna be there when we comeback they're mistaken. It is said that... "Money is the root of all evil"....Actually that statement is incorrect....It is the LOVE of money that is the root of all evil... Funny how you think you know a person, you come up the ranks with these indiiduals, share and fellowship with them years of toils, yet that same person will sell you down the river for a buck.

After reading the front page to the web site,where it says our leaders want us to know they are negotiating day,  night and weekends,And that  emany wants us to wait for the contract to be ratified before we go back,well, if there is a member out there who believes emanys propaganda,and thinks for a minute that our team is loligagging around ,shame on them.And as for me............no rush here Ray ,you get the best contract you can,dont you settle for nothing less,we waited this long ,we will wait some more.Any member who cant wait and is starving well then ,they can come to my  house for dinner cause I am not giving in...........I have a tan to work on.

Thanks to our STRONG local 1 members the month of June medical will be paid by the membership. This is great news because OUR FAMILES COME FIRST, GOD BLESS! I would also like to commend Ray and our negotiating team not only for their hard work, but also for their communicating with us !!! WE NEED TO KNOW WHATS GOING ON! We cant tell you enough how much we appreciate your COMMUNICATION COMMITMENT! TO all our leaders in negotiations, STAND TALL!!! AS from day one we are behind you 100%. Remain United! We have been locked by emany for over 11 weeks, please remain strong! We dont want to go back to work for less then what we deserve !!!!!!7 7 7.....NO GPS , NO FLEXIBLE SHIFTWORK , No changes in hoisting, ABSOLUTELY NO GIVEBACKS ! I want to personally thank all of you for standing strong and keeping ALL the members of Local ONES  best interests in mind. I personally would love to hear a voice or 2 or even 3 from some working members of how they feel about this contract? And why not ? Please let everybody know that the membership is united, except the 800 hundred working members that have not payed the 250$'s for May.

 Also two questions for anybody that has an answer.

1. How a locked out member can vote on a contract that does not have?

2. How any not locked out member can vote yes to any contract agreed between local 1 and emany that is different from their agreement with their companies?
