Well the lawn is actually cut on time, Im able to shower before the Yankee game and Im really enjoying my family. THE STRONG CONTINUE TO GET STRONGER. I JUST WANT TO LET ALL THE INVOLVED BROTHERS AND SISTERS HOW EXTREMELY PROUD I AM OF ALL OF YOU!.Its been overwhelming when we decide to meet, rally, organize or just get together and have a cup of coffee and share some peanut butter and crackers, HOW ALL OF YOU ANSWER THE CALL !!!!!!!!! Its makes me extremely proud how whether we have any personal differences at all , how since we have been locked out WE ALL have put them aside. You see we are fighting a much bigger problem, Its called "Corporate Greed". I read an interesting article last week rearding the workers in the United States , it basically said we are last In the top ten major industrailized countries when it comes to OUR paid vacations . Basically It went on to say although some of us whether we are unionized, management , private or public. Whether we are entitled to PAID TIME OFF, alot of US dont take it? What a shame , please brothers and sisters take the time to enjoy your wife , your children , your mom and dad " if you are blessed to still have your Grand parents enjoy them also. Life is too short, we are all blessed with the same 24 hours a day, Its what you decide to do with your day that makes the difference!!!!!We are only on the Earth a short time !!! Make It count, make your FAMILY at home and at WORK PROUD. Remain strong!  My Mom " God rest her soul" used to say to me , Brian nothing good In life , comes easy and never comes without sacrifice. I try to life my life to the best of my abilities and refuse to GIVE in to negative people! I never judge others but have come to realize that everyone does the best they can with the abilities they were given. My life has not been one filled with no tragedy, my family has had Its share of greef. You will always have friends when your life is good and things are going good , but your TRUE friends, brothers and sisters will show you what REAL friends are all about! May our leaders remain strong, may OUR local brothers and sisters remain strong! Tough times dont last , but tough people do. Im thankful for my health my friends and family and mostly of my faith ! I must say I am truly blessed with the FINEST UNION BROTHERS AND SISTERS ,   Please brothers keep the faith! SHOW ME A WINNER, and Ill show you someone who has also failed a few times! I know my messages are long "sometimes" but I appreciate everone that reads them , Im just glad the websites guestbook is being READ!!!! Respectfully submitted a " TRUE YANKEE FAN" Brother Brian Link . TO RAY AND OUR LEADERS , Continue to toe the line, REMAIN STRONG! Our families need you strong!WE ARE BEHIND YOU 100% FROM DAY 1 NO GPS, NO FLEXIBLESHIFTWORK, NO HOISTING CHANGES .................NO GIVEBACKS!!!!!!!!!!! 7 7 7 plus

Dear Bro.O'Brien forget the peanut butter and fluff sandwich go get a fishing pole and put a little fluff on the hook your sure to catch a sea robbing there bottom feeding bait stealing good for nothing fish they just wait around and steal from the worker fish like blues and striper's there too lazy to find there own food. but like anything else even this low form of fish species  have some redeeming values  if you slice there necks and run the blade down there spine [it's hard to find] you'll find a small yellow muscle that you can fry. two slices of bread add a little fluff and you have a SCABWICH.   7 7 7 NO GPS NO CHANGE IN STRAIT TIME AND NO HOISTING GIVE BACK   ENJOY BRO.  Just recieved a call that 2 scabs are working at WFC Amex tower and let one of the CEO's ride a passenger car while they were preforming a test. The so called CHIEF MECHANIC as he identified himself as, managed to get himself and the CEO trapped in the car for over an hour. They even told him that he might have to crossover to the next car using the side exit and a plank. So much for the highly trained employees.

Nice job scabs and keep up the good work

STAY STRONG,TOW THE LINE ,777,

Rich

Did some recon today. I found (and photographed) 5 Schindler scabs having coffee at the Starbucks outside the Marriott Times Square. One had the balls to wear a Schindler shirt, and another wore a City Scrap shirt (must be a local).
Then I found (and photographed) 6 Otis scabs workin on one escalator at the Port Authority Bus Station. Not one of the was wearing boots, glasses, or gloves. So much for safety. And I don't think they will send me 5 helpers for an escalator shut down.
Went by the Otis shop and found the worst kind of scab, John Mitchell, who gave up his card the day before the lock-out. That means he was forwarned and didn't tell any of his brothers or his few friends about it. Very scummy of him. He should be shunned by every member. He is in the picture with the Otis super smoking.
Anyone in the city might want to swing by the Hilton on sixth, the Weston on 8th & 43rd, 32 Old Slip, K-Mart on 34th. Alot of escalators down that will be fixed by scabs. Get their pics and send them in.

                                                WE WERE THERE

I am a union man, don't call me a hero .tho' i was the brother first down at ground zero .Other members came from through tout this great land to first honor the fallen. then gave the helping hand, to make way through the rubble to help forge the way. our brothers and sisters worked every night.  . 24 hours .Every day and that was OK. . . .  however. . .  you see us now. . ,

standing out here today  ,  On the line fighting for others.

For a BETTER WAGE AND BETTER PAY,

We are union members who were there on September  11, 2001.

we are out here trying to educate  what its like being a union brother.

Dear Brothers & Sisters,
I hope everybody had a great Memorial Day weekend NOT being on call. I know I did! I switched jobs recently when EMANY locked me out. I am now a "valued employee" of NYS unemployment. Sure they pay a  little less but great benefits! M-F off, no weekends and no night call list. I am also able to pickup some extra cash from MY annuity fund if I so choose. It's a good thing the annuity fund arbitrator saw our situation as "involuntary unemployment" even though we all wanted  this. Perhaps we payed him off!(sarcasm) Thanks to all the other locals of IUEC for your support whether financial or otherwise! Ray and team keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!
P.S. The only bad thing about this is that my girlfriend Lorraine keeps busting my chops about painting my apartment. "This is a perfect time to paint because your not working".She's constantly criticizing me.I still don't see whats wrong with the old paint.
