More lies from EMANY today. As a former employee of Schindler [ LOCKED OUT], when we first got our "new field links", they said that GPS, would only be used, for 911 purposes. That was a lie then, and they will continue to lie about that now. Their "flexible start time", is just another way, to line their pockets with the sweat off of our backs. This contract will be 6am - 12pm start times, the next one will be extended further. We must not let them do this to us. Out of respect, for the Brothers in the past, and the Brothers in the future, we must not give into this. They want productivity, why don't they check their own house. The management they have is utterly ridiculous. Supervisors with no elevator experience, salesmen with no elevator sales experience. They were a runaway train before they screwed us. Now they want productivity. So to clarify things, because of T-Shirts, because "allegedly" a few guys , lets say 50 , were not doing what they were supposed to do, EMANY decides to LOCKOUT and punish 1000. THEY KNEW AND WANTED THIS TO HAPPEN. Do not be misled by their bullsh**. The summer is around the corner, brownouts too. They will see the evil of their ways in the long run.

has anyone heard that unemployment is being blocked by emany?  I heard that they are claiming we have a vacation check coming so we're not entitled.  can anyone confirm this.  I called all my friends and family and had them all calling their assembymen to support the elevator saftey bill.  See you in albany.   Tim Faranda

Right before EMANY locked us out, they sent their DVD propaganda to our homes,with Mr. Larry Silverstein talking about the threat of non-union labor. I guess he's had a change of heart because he just spit in EMANY'S face.

We have about 6 seats that opened up today.  If you want to come show up tomorrow.

There will be breakfast on the bus, I think bagels and juice.

There will be a boxed lunch on the return trip.

Well, I just came home and had to post this ,Transel started at 7 WTC today. Seems the big three just don' t  know when to cut their losses.The service cars are going to be completed without the use of Otis equipment. I just received an e-mail from someone who signed it sammagramma @aol.com. I guess he is one of the guys on the negotiating committee for EMANY. Other than calling our union Reps." inept goons" he was upset with what I wrote on this site. He obviously misunderstood what I meant. I don`t condone the things that have happened but he should understand what the EMANY companies are doing to good people

There will be coffee at the Hall at 5:30 am.  The buses will depart no later than 6:15 am.  If we should get them loaded a little earlier we can roll a little earlier.

If anyone needs to cancel please e-mail or call me (347)-236-8317. 

When we get to Albany please follow the instructions of your bus captain and the marshals, we need to off load and move a lot of people in a short period of time.

If anyone would like to attend Tuesday's Rally in Albany and has not yet secured a bus seat please call me.  Our buses are filled at the moment, but there are many buses leaving from other halls in our neighborhood.  If we need additional seats I will try to find them Monday.

Good Day Everyone,

Just finished sending an email to almost every assembly man and woman on the list encouraging they pass the Elevator Safety Bill.  My fingers were tap dancing all over the keyboard and I felt really empowered!  My only fear is that the emails are read by a receptionist and thrown into the garbage.  I plan on making a few follow-up phones during a break at work to cover all bases-wouldn't hurt. 

This LOCKOUT has opened mine eyes.  I heard that the three big stinkers work with expert (s) whose business is just to break unions; what woman gave birth to this breed of man?  If this is true, and I suspect it is it is imperative that we do all that we can to break the anti-union strategies.  I will do anything to ensure that my family doesn't starve and become homeless, as well as helping out my fellow brother and sister. This is an attack on the working man and woman and the middle-class.  STAY STRONG!  STAY TRUE!
