The stress must be getting to them. I saw (and photographed) Nick Krassy running like a little girl through grand central. He was on the phone and once he was inside 200 Park Ave., he screamed F YOU!! into the phone and hung up. Now I hope this wasn't a customer, because I know little nicky went through service excellence training with the rest of Otis. He looked ready to have a stroke when my union brother took his picture.

Also, we found (and photographed) two scabs and Stefan Virzalay at the Weston Hotel on 43rd and 8th. The first scab pissed his pants and literally ran away when I took his picture. The other scab got indignant (TOO BAD) when I took his. But the best was the look of utter frustration on Stefan's face. Was the fact that he was actually getting dirty for his money, or is he finally realizing that without us, he is nothing but a degree without meaning.

I will post the pictures as soon as I get them devloped. Keep up the good work brothers, and let the scabs know that we are always out there.

To my Brothers and Sisters of Local 1

What an HONOR it has been to spend a few days here in your local office and shoulder to shoulder with you on your picket lines.

I hope that everyone understands that you are not alone, not only do you have each other along with great leadership; also you have the thoughts and prayers of an entire nation.

With each and every day that passes you grow stronger and stronger, take pride in your victories - big and small.

You are all fighting not only for your future, you are fighting for your families as well.

Ask yourselves - what is EMANY fighting for?

                    ....$ PROFIT $....

Hello brothers and sisters . Just wanted to personally thank the 35-40 brothers who came out Weds night @ Marriott Melville on LIE (north service road between exits 48-49). We have some scabs staying there. OTIS SCABS ONSITE. A few out of towners from Otis and a BIG SCAB from Otis Long Island . His name is Bob Luiza? ( Pronounced LUUUUUUWEEZA). Im not apologizing for the spelling! What a shame this EX LOCAL 1 member is a very sad person, thriving on putting us out of work .I believe he is a otis supervisor/scab working out of Otis Plainview Office.I will keep this message short , just wanted to let all the brothers and sisters who came out tonight THANK UUUU. I always enjoy seeing the brothers who continue to tow the line and support OUR UNION OUR WORK OUR RIGHTS OUR TRADE. We will continue to inform and educate the public of the true facts . Otis is compensating scabs , security and customer safety all in name of corporate greed! These scabs and WEEZY will have their pictures on the internet . Marriott Melville is avery nice place, possibly stop in with your wife and see what they are doing to our livelyhood. We will continue to educate ,inform the riding public of the true facts . We will prevail,we will NOT go away . I am looking foward to going back to work. PLEASE keep in touch with your shop stewards . WE WILL PREVAIL . LAST NIGHT I HAD A DREAM, THAT I WORKED FOR A COMPANY THAT RESPECTED ME NOT ONLY AS AN EMPLOYEE, BUT AS AN ASSET. SOMETHING THAT IS TANGIBLE, SOMEONE WITH WORTH AND I RECIPROCATED THAT, WITH A MUTUAL RESPECT AND PROFESSIONALISM THAT DID MY TRADE PROUD, THAT THE COMPANY FOR WHICH I WORKED ASKED OF ME AND I RESPONDED TO THOSE CHALLENGES WITH A FERVOR AND A ZEAL, AND THAT I HAD THE GRATITUDE OF MY CUSTOMERS FOR A JOB WELL DONE AND WHEN I GOT HOME I LAID MY HEAD ON MY PILLOW AND SLEPT SOUNDLY COMFORTED BY THE KNOWLEDGE THAT I HAD DONE MY BEST AND TREATED THOSE AROUND ME AS I WISHED TO BE TREATED, AND I HAD THE RESPECT OF MY PEERS...
IF IN FACT THOSE SHORT SIGHTED PUPPETS AT EMANY DO READ THESE POSTINGS, KNOW THAT THIS DREAM IS SLIPPING FROM YOU, AND THE MEN AND WOMAN OF THIS UNION HAVE LOST THEIR RESPECT FOR THE MACHINE THAT IS SLOWLY LOSING ITS GRIP ON WHAT IS IMPORTANT. THE ONLY ASSET YOU CANNOT PURCHASE...RESPECT. GOOD LUCK IN FINDING THAT IN YOUR CONTRACT.

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

By this weekend, we will make a post with detailed instructions on how to properly fill out your Lock-Out Health Coverage Form for May which you will receive from the National Elevator Industry Benefit Plan Office. We will attempt to clarify this form for all of our members who are locked-out so there is no confusion.

Thank you for your continued show of solidarity toward your Local One Negotiating Committee. Our membership is an inspiration to all.

Emany states in their letter of 4/28 that the lockout was

necesssary to protect them to continue serving their customers.

Really?-How?-By using scabs and other people who have no

clue as to what they are doing when it comes to elevators.

By now it is obvious they locked us out to harm us and

more importantly our families.

They still claim that our demands are unrealistic.

Who are they kidding-Shift work and GPS are'nt unrealistic?

Their claim on hoisting is a joke; You know they are going

to use untrained, fly by night outfits to do the hoisting.

Let's never forget this-Especially when they refer to us

as valued employees.

Emany claims that Ray and the negotiating committee are wasting valuable time?-No-They are the ones who are wasting

time by trying to ram thieir demands down our throats.

This so called fair wage package is fair for Emany's

pockets.

I guess their claim to safety first went out the window on

March 17;Talk about going against company policy.

And you know Emany is going to us  blame us for all their

lost work.Stay strong.

                              Tony.

Schindler is keeping us out just till unemployment is to begin. Than they will OK 7+7+7. Why not renegotiate for services not received and make up for lost wages they stole from us. 10+10+10. Stick it up there and if or BUTTS.

The following is an e-mail I received earlier from the riding public.

I just wanted you guys to know that I work in a building that Schindler services and wanted to say that we miss you guys very much.  We have four elevators in this building.  For the past few weeks, one has been completely down, and for the last week, two elevators were shut down with cones in front of them.  They are putting hand written signs on the elevator “Out of Order”.  Yesterday, we were having problems with a third of four elevators.  It’s not only scary to ride the elevators, but sometimes there is a long wait since I work on the top floor. The building at Glenpointe next to us has an elevator out and one with problems as well.  Yesterday, someone told the security guard in the lobby (management?) that the “strike” was over and the elevators would be fixed by 11:00 a.m., but when I left at 5:30 p.m., the cones were still there.

I also have friends that are out of work and hope you guys are back to work soon!  Good luck to you all!

It’s important to let our team know that we stand behind them. This forum is as good a place as any to let them know that we are %100 dedicated to the fight for a fair contract. If you’re reading this post, you can leave a message.  Let your message be short or let it be long, just let it be known that we are not wavering in our resolve.

Stay the course: NO GPS, 7-7-7, NO SHIFT WORK, NO HOISTING CHANGES.
