Jason, a 10-year member of Local 71, is survived by wife Lisa, and sons Bradley and Brandon. A celebration of Life for Jason will be held Sunday, May 17, 2009 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Tillman Funeral Home, which is located at 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida 33415. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made in honor of Jason for his sons Bradley and Brandon at any Wachovia Bank under the name of Lisa R. Moyer. card number 396 Comments: I agree with Louis, their has to be a better way for people who have retired. we can't take losses like that with our annuity. I do hope they do look into it' I would hate to have to move it to some other fund.
card number 1634 Comments: I finally received my annuity statement and wasn't happy about the 13.6% loss, but it was to be expected with last year's economy. Perhaps the trustees could look into a way to allow members who are approaching retirement age (50+) to move their money to a low-risk, guaranteed fund. Many brothers who retired last year and are retiring in 2009 lost a lot of money - and it doesn't have to be that way.
