Sorry many of you couldn't donate due to recent visits to Mexico or your answer to question #34. ![]() Just kidding! I spoke with John Sr. at the blood drive and John Jr. is progressing well. He is off of the respirator and out of ICU. He has just been transferred to rehabilitation for physical therapy. John still has a long road to recovery, but with our help and support, I know he will be just fine. Thanks again for the support on the blood drive. Bill Bulger Jr.
card number 14 Comments: The blood drive for Brother John Brady Jr was a HUGE success yesterday. The blood center collected 69 units of blood. As a member of Local One for 27 years, yesterday was one of my proudest moments being a part of this great organization. The true meaning of Brotherhood and Sisterhood was truly displayed yesterday in Perth Amboy. There were whole families that donated. There were other trades that donated. There were complete strangers that donated. The best part of the day was seeing all of our tough guys flopping around on the beds and then getting up like nothing happened. We do have videotape of some of the floppers. ![]() ![]() I would also like to thank the crew who gave up 5 hours of their own time on Tuesday night to clean and set up the hall for the blood bank. I would also like to give Steve Dunnigan a special shout out for just sitting around and doing NOTHING. Thanks Steve. I would also like to give a special note to Bill Bulger who helped to set up this GREAT day!! We will be setting up another blood drive in the LIC hall in the fall. Some of the brothers came from Long Island to give blood and that is just too far to travel but appreciated. God Bless The Brady family God Bless the USA God Bless LOCAL ONE!!!
